Christy Addis is a designer, art collections manager, curator, and color specialist. She studied art, design, and filmmaking, earning her BFA and MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. She worked in the art departments of feature films for 13 years. Later, she taught art, design, design history, and color theory to high school and college students. She is now Film Curator for the Venice Institute of Contemporary Art, and Program Director for the Fine Arts Film Festival. Christy maintains a deep involvement in the Southern California film and arts scene. She currently resides with her artist husband in Joshua Tree, CA.
