"After earning a BFA in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, I worked in the field of residential design for over 18 years. In 2011, I transitioned to commercial interior design and began working for JBA Architects in Newark, OH. Occasionally a residential project comes my way and I am happy to work in that sector again. Having a passion for color most of my life, I was delighted to discover the IACC and began the seminars in 2007. During this time, the IACC celebrated their 50th anniversary in which I was privileged and honored to have a project entry chosen to be displayed in Salzburg, Austria. In 2008, I received my associate membership status into the IACC-NA and have plans to complete my thesis for accreditation. As Vice President for one year (2012) and President for four years (2013-2017), I enjoyed the opportunity to get to know our talented members, work with an incredible board, and interact with past board members. It was an honor to represent our members in this position.
